Our Training Philosophy

It’s difficult to be prescriptive in detail when it comes to our training philosophy, as it accommodates the unique needs of each dog. The best way to learn our style of training is to join us at the club and see in person how we train the variety of dogs we have at our club.

While each dog's training path differs, certain fundamental principles underline our approach. We always try to set our dogs up for success, making every time we issue a command perfect. Not through compulsion, but through balanced training where we manipulate the dogs drives to get the desired behavior. Our dogs work happy and in drive.

To facilitate this, we may advise a slower pace of progress compared to other clubs. Our training places heavy emphasis on cultivating focus, stimulating play drives, and establishing clear communication. As dogs mature, we introduce distractions and only when we have established reliable communication do we attach commands to their actions.

We wholeheartedly invite you to join us and witness first-hand the joy and intensity with which our dogs work. At our club, we don't just train dogs; we build relationships that highlight the intelligence and potential of each dog in a positive, balanced, and encouraging environment.
